Pine Tar Bar
Our pure and authentic pine tar tallow bars are formulated with the one and only Auson Brand Special Kiln Burn pine tar that comes from resinous pine wood. This brand produces the only approved pine tar for human skin, as all other pine tar is known to use chemically treated pine which and contains creosote, a known carcinogen. This recipe packs a heavy-scented punch. If you’ve never smelled pine tar before, or even if you have, this pine tar is the best. It smells like a campfire mixed with sweet BBQ sauce. Lightly scented with additional organic cedarwood essential oil. Hunters love these bars as they claim it masks their own scent in the forest.
Pine tar was traditionally used for skin alignments. While we cannot make any claims, these pine tar soaps were formulated in mind to gently cleanse those with sensitive skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
Ingredients: distilled water, grass-fed and grass-finished suet tallow, annatto-infused olive oil, organic babassu oil, organic shea butter, sodium hydroxide*, organic castor oil, pine tar, organic cedarwood essential oil, organic sugar, kaolin clay, sodium lactate
*No sodium hydroxide remains in the final bar of soap.
Please remember that these handmade small-batch bars are hand-cut and may have slightly different designs and colors with varying imperfections. These unique details give each bar that special homemade feel. To give your bar a longer life in the shower, please use a draining soap dish to ensure it dries between each use. Discontinue use if any irritation occurs.
